2. Educational Purpose and Professional Disclaimer
Zenyasa Academy provides educational content intended to support learning, professional development, and personal practice. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, physical therapy, or other licensed healthcare service.
Information relating to anatomy, movement, injuries, health, stress, the nervous system, psychology, or other health-related subjects is provided for educational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for individualized evaluation or treatment from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
By using this site or participating in a Zenyasa Academy course or program, you acknowledge that:
• No medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment is being provided.
• Educational information may not be appropriate for every individual or circumstance.
• You are responsible for determining how and whether to apply course information in your own practice or teaching.
• You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or other professional concerns.
3. Movement and Physical Activity Disclaimer
Some Zenyasa Academy courses, demonstrations, workshops, or educational activities may involve yoga, exercise, movement exploration, partner work, or other physical activity.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
• Participation in physical activity is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. • You are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for your body and circumstances.

4. Enrollment and Access
When you enroll in a Zenyasa Academy course or program, you receive a personal, non-transferable, limited license to access and use the course and its materials for your own individual learning and professional development.
Enrollment does not transfer ownership of any course materials or intellectual property to you.
Access terms may vary depending on the course format.
Self-Guided Courses
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable course page, access to a self-guided course is provided immediately after successful enrollment and payment. Students may work through the course according to their own schedule while access remains available under the terms described for that course.
Guided Live Cohorts
Guided cohort programs may combine online course materials with scheduled live sessions, discussions, laboratories, or other cohort-based learning experiences.
Unless otherwise stated, access to the online course materials for a guided cohort will be provided approximately 24 hours before the scheduled start of the cohort.
Specific cohort dates, meeting times, live-session schedules, and access information will be provided as part of the enrollment process or before the cohort begins.
5. Lifetime Access
Some Zenyasa Academy courses may be advertised as including “Lifetime Access.” Unless otherwise expressly stated, Lifetime Access means access to the purchased course for as long as that course continues to be offered and hosted by Zenyasa Academy.
Lifetime Access does not mean the lifetime of the individual purchaser and does not guarantee that a particular course, website, learning platform, technology, or version of the course will remain available indefinitely.
Zenyasa Academy may periodically revise, update, reorganize, replace, migrate, or discontinue course materials, features, or delivery platforms. Course content may therefore change over time as materials are updated or improved.
If a course is permanently discontinued, Zenyasa Academy is not obligated to maintain indefinite online hosting solely because the course was originally sold with Lifetime Access. When reasonably practical, Zenyasa Academy may provide advance notice or alternative access arrangements, but permanent or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Lifetime Access remains subject to these Terms of Use. Access may be suspended or revoked in cases of fraud, unauthorized sharing, intellectual property violations, abuse of the platform, or other material violations of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
Unless otherwise indicated, all course materials and website content are owned by or licensed to Zenyasa Academy and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
This includes, among other things:
• Videos and audio recordings
• Course lessons and written content
• Slides and presentations
• Illustrations, diagrams, and graphics
• Worksheets, handouts, and downloadable resources
• Quizzes, exercises, assignments, and learning activities
• Original course organization, instructional materials, and teaching frameworks
Your enrollment permits you to use these materials for your own personal learning and professional development.
You agree that you will not:
• Share your login credentials or course access with another person.
• Copy, reproduce, publish, upload, distribute, or publicly display course materials.
• Record or redistribute course videos, live sessions, or other protected content.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially distribute course materials.
• Repackage course content or present Zenyasa Academy materials as your own work.
• Upload course materials to public file-sharing sites, shared repositories, or other locations intended for use by people who have not enrolled in the course.
You are welcome to apply concepts learned through your studies to your own yoga practice, teaching, workshops, or professional work. However, enrollment does not grant permission to reproduce or redistribute Zenyasa Academy’s original materials.
7. Downloads and Supplemental Materials
Any downloadable handouts, worksheets, reference materials, or other digital resources provided through Zenyasa Academy are intended for the enrolled student’s personal educational and professional use unless otherwise stated.
You may download and retain materials when the course platform permits downloading, but you may not publicly distribute, republish, sell, license, or share those materials with others.
You are welcome to recommend a Zenyasa Academy resource or course to another person by sharing the original website, course, or enrollment link so that they may obtain access directly.
8. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed securely through third-party platforms such as Stripe and New Zenler. Zenyasa Academy does not store your full credit card details.
Unless a particular course or promotion clearly states a different refund policy, the following policies apply:
Self-Guided Courses
Access to self-guided courses is generally granted immediately after successful enrollment and payment. Because students receive immediate access to the course and its digital materials, self-guided course purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted.
If a technical or payment error prevents you from accessing a course you purchased, please contact Zenyasa Academy so that the issue can be corrected.
Guided Live Cohorts
For courses offered as guided live cohorts, the following cancellation policy applies unless otherwise stated on the applicable enrollment page:
• If you cancel seven (7) or more calendar days before the scheduled start of the cohort, you may receive a full refund of the amount paid.
• If you cancel fewer than seven (7) calendar days before the scheduled start of the cohort, but before access to the course materials has been granted, you may receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid.
• Once access to the online course materials has been granted, the enrollment becomes non-refundable, even if the first live cohort session has not yet occurred.
Course access for guided cohorts is ordinarily granted approximately 24 hours before the scheduled start of the cohort.
Failure to attend live sessions, complete course activities, or make use of course materials does not create eligibility for a refund after the applicable refund period has ended.
If Zenyasa Academy cancels a live cohort and does not offer a suitable alternative, enrolled students will be offered either a transfer to another available cohort or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled cohort.
From time to time, a specific course, promotion, or special program may include different refund or cancellation terms. When such terms are clearly stated on the applicable sales or enrollment page, those specific terms will apply to that purchase.
9. Continuing Education Credit
Jason Ray Brown is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and most Zenyasa Academy courses are intended to qualify for Yoga Alliance continuing education credit when they fall within applicable Yoga Alliance educational categories.
However, Zenyasa Academy may occasionally offer courses, workshops, or educational programs that do not qualify for Yoga Alliance continuing education credit. Courses that provide continuing education hours will identify this on the applicable course or enrollment page.
Students are responsible for maintaining any certificates or documentation required for their professional records and for confirming that a particular course satisfies the requirements of their credentialing organization, employer, licensing authority, or other professional body.
Zenyasa Academy cannot guarantee acceptance of a course by organizations other than those expressly identified in the course description.
10. Completion Requirements and Certificates
Some courses may include certificates of completion or documentation of continuing education hours. Eligibility for a certificate may require completion of specified lessons, assessments, assignments, attendance requirements, or other course activities.
Specific completion requirements will be described within the applicable course or its enrollment information.
A certificate of completion documents participation in or completion of a Zenyasa Academy educational program. It does not constitute a professional license, healthcare credential, academic degree, or authorization to practice outside the scope of any professional credentials you already hold.
11. Live Sessions and Recordings
Some guided cohorts, workshops, or other programs may include live online sessions. When a live session will be recorded, participants will be informed through the course, registration materials, or at the beginning of the session when appropriate.
Recordings may be made available to enrolled students for educational review. Participants should avoid sharing private, confidential, or sensitive personal information during recorded sessions.
Zenyasa Academy may establish additional participation or recording guidelines for individual programs when necessary.
12. User Conduct
By using this site or any associated platforms, you agree that you will not:
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intentionally harm other participants.
• Engage in any illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Attempt to hack, modify, circumvent, or disrupt the website, course platform, or its services.
• Share, repost, or misuse copyrighted materials without permission.
• Share course access or login credentials with unauthorized users.
• Misrepresent your identity, enrollment status, qualifications, or course completion.
Violations of these Terms may result in the suspension or revocation of access to courses, communities, or other services, without refund.
13. Third-Party Services
This site uses third-party services such as New Zenler, Stripe, Zoom, Google services, email service providers, analytics tools, and other technology platforms to deliver content, conduct live sessions, communicate with students, and process payments.
These providers have their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices, which you are responsible for reviewing where applicable.
Zenyasa Academy is not responsible for failures, outages, interruptions, or security breaches originating with independent third-party services.
14. Availability of Website and Courses
Zenyasa Academy makes reasonable efforts to maintain reliable access to its website and educational programs but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, software updates, platform changes, technical failures, internet outages, third-party service disruptions, or events beyond Zenyasa Academy’s reasonable control.
Zenyasa Academy may modify its website, courses, curriculum, platform, pricing, features, or services from time to time.
15. Disclaimer of Results
Zenyasa Academy courses are intended to provide education, knowledge, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Individual learning experiences and outcomes vary. Zenyasa Academy does not guarantee that participation in a course will produce any particular professional, financial, educational, health, teaching, employment, or business result.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zenyasa Academy and its owner, instructors, contractors, representatives, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from or connected to your use of this website, its content, course materials, educational programs, or related services.
All website content, courses, and educational materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.
Your use of the website and participation in Zenyasa Academy programs is voluntary and at your own risk.
17. Changes to These Terms
Zenyasa Academy may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
